BLOOD ON THE DOLE is a 1994 British drama that follows the lives of four school leavers in a deprived area of Merseyside.

Language

There is frequent use of strong language ('f**k'). Milder terms include 'bitch', 'wanker', 'shit', 'bloody', 'bollocks', 'dickhead' and 'bastard'.

Drugs

Teenage characters purchase and smoke marijuana. There is also a brief reference to ecstasy misuse.

A man is shot and killed off screen, resulting in moderate bloody aftermath detail.

There is a brief scene of moderate sex in which two partially dressed teenagers thrust together against a wall.

There is also a mildly intense car crash scene.
