BIG is a US comedy about a little boy who wishes to be a grown up and wakes to discover his dream has come true.
- Language
There are occasional uses of strong language ('f**k'). Milder bad language includes uses of 'bastard', 'jesus', 'bitch', 'bullshit', 'shit', 'goddamn' and 'screw'.
- Sex
There are occasional moderate sex references with a character being warned about a predatory woman in the office with the comment "say hi and she's yours, she'll have her legs wrapped so tight you'll be begging for mercy'". In another scene a couple return to an apartment after a night out and the woman undoes and removes her blouse to expose her bra. The man reaches over and touches her clothed breast.
Other issues include some mild comic violence with a brief wrestle on the floor between two men that leaves one with a slightly bloodied nose and a cut knee.
Several of the characters are seen smoking at various points throughout the film.
