BEST OF ENEMIES is a documentary about a series of televised debates between Gore Vidal and William F. Buckley, Jr.

Language

There is one use of very strong language ('c**t') which occurs during a scene in which a linguistics professor explains that this is one of the words that would be considered profanity today. There is also some discriminatory language ('fag', 'faggot', 'queer') and a scene in which a man makes a rude gesture.

Sex

In a scene from a film, a woman exposes a man's buttocks before forcing herself on him from behind. Some scenes from another film, Caligula, feature brief male nudity and naked men and women writhing during an orgy scene. However, there is no strong detail.

Archival footage includes brief scenes of looting and people being beaten by police, and a man holding up a pro-drug poster. There are also some moderate sex references.

There are references to sexual violence.
