THE BELLY OF THE WHALE is a crime drama in which a man and boy plan to rob an amusement arcade.

Language

There is infrequent strong language ('c**t') and strong language ('f**k') throughout, as well as milder terms such as 'bollocks' and 'shit'.

Violence

Scenes of violence include exchanges of gunfire and punches, resulting in bloody injury. A man is shot in the neck with an arrow.

Drugs

Scenes of drug misuse include a man snorting cocaine and a substance being smoked from a makeshift device at a party.

There are some verbal and visual sex references, including some images that appear to show a man receiving oral sex, though there is limited detail. There are also references to a man having killed himself with a shotgun, including some brief sight of bloodied walls and furnishings.
