BEAST WITHIN is a US horror about a college student who takes a trip to his uncle's remote home and discovers that his family's violent past might have a supernatural source.

Violence

There are some moments of strong bloody violence, including a man's head being pulled in half, and another man's head being smashed in with a rifle butt. Other bloody images include piles of severed limbs and deep wounds on bodies in line-drawing animations, plus some blood spurts from bullet impacts.

Other issues include strong language ('motherf**ker' and 'f**k').

There are also strong sex references as men talk about 'sucking dick' and groping 'titties'. A line-drawing animation shows a bare breasted woman sitting astride a man on a bed.

There is some drug use, with both bongs and joints smoked. Some lines of cocaine are cut up on a table top.
