Note: The following text may contain spoilers

BATTLE COMPANY: KORENGAL is a documentary about a platoon of US soldiers stationed at a distant outpost in the Korengal Valley in Afghanistan. It is a sequel to the 2010 documentary RESTREPO.

Language

Frequent use of strong language (eg 'f**k'), as well as milder terms such as 'shit' and 'crap'.

Other issues include several sequences in which the soldiers are engaged in fire fights, shooting at unshown targets. There is no sight of anyone being injured, but there are some emotional moments in which they talk about comrades who have been killed. There is also some brief sexualised nudity in some 'pin-up' style pictures seen in the soldiers' living quarters.
