BARBECUE is French language drama about a middle aged man who changes his lifestyle following a heart attack and invites his friends to join him for the summer holidays at a beautiful country retreat.

Language

There are five uses of strong language ('f**k'), and uses of milder terms, including 'dick', 'screwed' and 'bastards'.

Drugs

Drug use includes a scene showing an older man appreciatively smelling cannabis, lighting and smoking a joint and later sharing it.

The film also contains moderate sex references.
