BALLERINA is an animated family film about a young girl who runs away from an orphanage in order to try to achieve her dream of becoming a dancer.

Language

There is a single use of mild bad language ('bitch') in the lyrics of a song playing in the background of one scene. There is also some very mild bad language ('God').

Scenes of mild threat include children being chased by a man on a motorbike as they fly on home-made wings and race in an out of control cart. A character is also chased up some scaffolding by a woman who threatens her with a large hammer. In a still image some knives fly towards a young boy as he relates his adventures in the city. Characters are seen practising their dance moves on the roofs of buildings.

There is also some very mild violence as a character is struck on the stomach and head. There's some very mild rude humour as characters make jokes about farting.
