THE BALLAD OF SHIRLEY COLLINS is a documentary about the life and career of Shirley Collins MBE, a celebrated English folk singer.

Language

There is infrequent strong language ('f**k'). There is also mild bad language, including uses of 'bloody' and 'bugger', and infrequent uses of the racist terms 'nigger' and 'niggers' as Ms Collins recalls a conversation with a bigoted man in Kentucky in the 1950s.

Other issues include natural male and female nudity in the form of a ceramic tile depicting Adam and Eve.
