BAD DREAMS is a 1988 US thriller in which a woman awakens in a hospital, following a coma, after which other patients start dying under mysterious circumstances.

There are scenes in which a young man stabs his own hand with a knife and his own stomach with two scalpels. Both scenes are accompanied by blood flowing from the wounds. In another scene a man repeatedly drives his car into another man, accompanied by blood spurts.

There is also a scene in which a man douses cult members with petrol before setting them on fire, and which is followed by scenes in which several people burn to death.

There is a scene in which blood, intestines and body parts pour through an open ceiling panel.

The film also contains scenes featuring a man with a badly burned and bloody face.

There is infrequent strong language ('c**t'), as well as some strong language ('f**k').

This work contains flashing images which may affect viewers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
