BACKTRACK is an Australian horror drama about a grieving psychiatrist who realises all his new clients are linked to a trauma in his past.
- Violence
There is a brief scene of strong violence in which a young girl is strangled. More moderate violence includes some blows to the head that knock people out.
- Disturbing images
There are several strong scenes of horror as a man is confronted by ghosts that loom out of the dark. Some of the ghosts have distorted, disfigured faces and scream in a disturbing fashion.

There is some injury detail seen in the immediate aftermath of an accident, including bloodied faces pressed against windows and a man's leg twitching in his death throes. Another man is seen with thick dark blood leaking out of an eye wound and dribbling down his face.
