ASURA: THE CITY OF MADNESS is a Korean action crime drama in which a policeman finds himself out of his depth when he is caught between Internal Affairs and the city's corrupt mayor.

Violence

Strong bloody violence includes men being run over repeatedly, gory stabbings, and a battle between gangs armed with machetes, axes and guns - with large blood spurts and injury detail. Torture includes a man's face being punched repeatedly until blood oozes through the cloth covering it. A man bites and chews his drinking glass, then spits out glass and blood.

Strong sex is seen in mobile phone footage.

There are some drug references, including sight of a drug addict with a needle hanging out of his arm.

The film contains strong language ('f**k', 'motherf**ker'). Milder bad language includes uses of 'asshole', 'bitch', 'bastard', 'shitting', 'prick' and 'screwed'.
