ARAMM is a Tamil language drama in which an official faces the crisis of her career when a child falls down a bore hole.

Threat

There is prolonged, claustrophobic threat to a girl, whose prospect of survival seems small. Much of the film focuses on an intense rescue mission against the clock, and the emotional distress of her family.

There are images of real bore hole rescues, which younger children may find upsetting.

There is brief generalised violence: police with sticks beat back a crowd.

There is a brief and undetailed mention of rape.

Characters smoke cigarettes, but this is not glamorised and the film includes health warnings.
