THE APARTMENT is a comedy drama about a man who allows his apartment to be used by executives for trysts in the hope he'll be promoted.

Sex

There are some comic references to characters being a 'sex pot', as well as a scene in which a woman takes offence when her lover gives her money as if he were paying her for sex.

Violence

Two characters fight and a couple of mild punches are thrown.

Suicide

A woman overdoses on sleeping pills. The overdose itself is only implied, but the character is shown throwing up in the subsequent scene in order to expel the contents of her stomach. After the attempt, the character's friend worries that their friend may and try and harm themselves again so precautions are taken to hide razor blades, other pills and also to lock the bedroom window.

There are uses of mild bad language such as 'hell' and 'damn'.
