AMOUR - LOVE is a subtitled French language drama about an elderly man and his wife who live a rich and fulfilling retirement until she suffers a stroke. As her health and ability to communicate decline, their relationship and love is tested to the limit.

Language

There is a single use of strong language ('f**k'), alongside milder terms including 'prick'.

Theme

There are several distressing scenes related to the deteriorating health of the elderly woman, who is left paralysed and barely able to speak following several strokes.

The film also contains some natural breast nudity when a woman is bathed by a nurse.
