ALLIES is a WWII drama, inspired by true events, about a team of British and US soldiers who embark on a mission behind enemy lines in an effort to shorten the war.

Language

There are over 50 uses of strong language ('f**k'), as well as various uses of milder terms, including 'prick', 'twat', ‘arse’, 'shit', 'bastard' and 'bloody hell'.

Violence

Strong violence includes bloody shootings, throat slittings and occasional bloody aftermath during scenes showing Germans and Allied forces in conflict.

Injury detail

Bloody injury detail includes sight of a bloody leg stump and gunshot injuries. There is also a scene showing a man cutting off two of his toes, with some bloody detail, which is done in a survival context in order to save his foot.

Nudity

One scene shows a naked woman approaching a sleeping man in bed, before climbing into the bed and rolling on top of him; her breast nudity is prominent, although no sex occurs.

The film also contains an undetailed suicide and scenes of moderate threat,
