ALIEN is a sci-fi horror thriller in which the crew of a spacecraft respond to a distress beacon on a remote planet, where they discover a hostile alien life form.

Violence

Scenes of violence and horror include a sequence in which an alien bursts out of a man's chest with resultant bloody splatter, an alien attaching itself to a man's face, and scenes in which characters are pursued by a dangerous alien creature through corridors and confined spaces.

There is also sight of a robot character being decapitated and spewing white fluid in place of blood.

Language

There is use of strong language ('f**k').
