ALEX CROSS is a US crime drama in which police detective and psychologist investigates a murder carried out by a sadistic killer nicknamed Picasso.

Violence

There are shootings, a fistfight, and aftermath sight of a man lying dead on the top of a car after falling from a height. In another scene, after seducing a woman and tying her to a bed for what appears to be consensual sex, a man injects the woman with a paralysing agent and proceeds to cut off her fingers. There is no strong detail in the cutting, but a severed finger is briefly seen as it is dropped into a bowl.

Brief verbal and visual references are made to drugs, including cocaine, but scenes of drug misuse do not feature. Moderate bad language ('bitch') and milder terms occur.
