ACROSS THE WATERS is a Danish drama in which a Jewish musician and his family seek help from fellow Danes in trying to flee to Sweden in order to avoid being rounded up by Nazi soldiers.

Sex

A man briefly but very vigorously thrusts into a woman from behind. Both are fully clothed and there is no nudity.

Other issues include moderate threat as a Jewish family are pursued by Nazis, and infrequent moderate violence as a man is shot first in the leg and then in the head, with little detail, after which blood begins to pool on the road.
