ABRAHAM LINCOLN VAMPIRE HUNTER is a fantasy action horror in which a young Abraham Lincoln discovers that vampires are plotting to take over the nation and he sets out to destroy them. The film was classified '15' for strong bloody violence and horror.

The BBFC's Guidelines at '15' state 'Violence may be strong but should not dwell on the infliction of pain or injury. The strongest gory images are unlikely to be acceptable'. There are a number of scenes featuring bloody and gory violence, both when vampires attack humans and when humans kill vampires. There is some sight of decapitations and impalements, with vampire blood being shown in black. However, the action is very fast-paced and rapidly edited and there is no dwelling on the infliction of pain or injury. None of the violence is sadistic in nature and all occurs within an obviously fantastical and pseudo-historical context.

ABRAHAM LINCOLN VAMPIRE HUNTER also contains a short scene in which a couple are seen having sex in a bath tub. However, the scene is brief and there is no nudity, with only the woman's bare back being seen as she appears to sit astride the man. The film also includes a single use of strong language.
