AARAMBAM is a Tamil action film with English subtitles. It follows a computer programmer who is lured to the big city on the pretense of a job, only to find that he is a pawn in the game of a seemingly mad bomber who is terrorising the city. It is rated 15 for strong bloody violence and threat.

There is frequent sight of bloodshed during gun battles, with brief blood spurts as characters are shot. There is also more graphic detail on occasion, such as when one character is shot in the head with brief but clear sight of blood spraying from the wound. During hand-to-hand combat there is audio of bones and necks being broken, sight of a pistol being rammed into a character's mouth, and in one action sequence a cleaver is rammed into a character's head just off-camera.

There is also strong threat, such as when a hot iron is placed above a baby's head by a character who demands information from a helpless victim, and in another sequence when a family are forced to drink poison by villains who threaten to kill them with knives unless they drink.

AARAMBAM also contains one clear use of strong language ('f**k').

No-one younger than 15 may see a 15 rated film in the cinema. No-one younger than 15 may rent or buy a 15 rated video or DVD.
