20TH CENTURY WOMEN is a US drama concerning the lives of a group of people living in California in 1979.

Sex

There are several strong verbal sex references. There is breast nudity in a scene in which a woman exposes herself to a man and also in a 'pin-up' photo from a magazine.

Language

There is strong language ('f**k') as well as milder bad language ('shit', 'slut', 'screwed', 'Jesus') and discriminatory language (eg 'faggot').

Drugs

Characters use marijuana.

There are scenes in which teenagers play a game which involves breath play, and which results in a boy being taken to hospital after falling unconscious. There is also a brief fight scene between two women.
