Language

There is infrequent strong language ('f**k'). There is also mild and very mild bad language, including uses of 'ass', 'bullshit', 'God', 'hell' and 'screwed'.

Violence

Moderate violence includes soldiers being shot and blown up on the battlefield, and prisoners of war being beaten and shot. In one scene an officer is hit on the head with a rifle butt and another is stabbed with a bayonet. The violence includes some bloody bullet impacts.

Disturbing images

A montage of archive black and white newsreel clips and still pictures documenting the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War / Bangladesh Independence War includes what appear to be real dead bodies lying on the ground (but without sight of blood or injury detail), a man pointing a rifle at a man on the ground and a group of severely malnourished people.

Other issues include mild sex references.
