Sex

Protestors' placards display graphic sexual images, including one of an erect penis between buttocks. There are strong sex scenes. A character cleans up another's semen with a tissue after masturbating him.

Language

There is use of strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder terms such as 'bitch' and 'screw'. When offered a condom, a young woman responds with discriminatory language ('fag').

There is brief drug misuse: a character takes an unspecified pill. There are references to Ecstasy and heroin.

There are upsetting scenes of death from AIDS-related illness.
