language
There is use of strong language ('f**k', 'motherf**ker') throughout, along with milder terms including 'prick', 'bitch', 'slut', 'jack-off', 'tits', 'piss', 'son of a bitch', 'asshole', 'ass', 'shit', 'bullshit', 'hell', 'God', 'damn', 'Jesus' and 'Christ'.
sex
It is implied a woman fellates three men in a cinema. There are also references to sex, oral sex, sex workers and peep shows.
discrimination
Sexist behaviour occurs in a number of scenes, with the inciting incident being a plot by a group of soldiers to bring the most 'ugly' woman they can find to a dance. Men make disparaging comments about women's appearances, and they laugh when they learn one of the attendees is a drag queen. There is also use of homophobic language ('fag'). However, such behaviour is clearly condemned by the film as a whole.
nudity
In a cinema people watch a naked woman on screen, and in a tattoo parlour there are various photographs of nude women, featuring breast nudity and pubic hair, displaying their tattoos.
In a brief wartime scene an explosion leaves men bloodied and injured. There are also occasional slaps and punches. People drink and smoke throughout.
