In May 2003 the Board introduced a revised fee tariff, reducing its charges as a direct result of the increased volume of work being processed and the productivity efficiencies that had been achieved in the previous year.
The Board has continued to process a high level of work and we are able to make a further 11% reduction to our main fee tariff for the viewing of film, video and digital media. This will take effect for all works received by the BBFC from, and including, 4th May 2004.
The structure of the fee tariff remains the same and is based on the reduced standard rate. Concession and charity rates will be at two thirds and 30% respectively of the new standard rate. Miscellaneous fees remain unchanged.
