The BBFC regularly re-examines video material originally submitted for classification several years ago. Such works are reclassified according to the current Guidelines, resulting in a category change in cases where the original category is no longer appropriate.
Please note that you should not anticipate classification categories in advance of receiving an Interim Clearance Form. We cannot guarantee that these works will be classified at the original category.
Printing the packaging before the category has been verified might result in costly reprinting.
