The film Gone in 60 Seconds has been passed ‘15’ uncut for cinema release. In reaching this decision, the BBFC took account of expert advice from the police as to whether scenes showing car theft techniques might provide instructive information. As a result, the Board is satisfied that the film’s content is unlikely to be of any assistance to potential car thieves.
