What do the initials 'VSC', 'BVA' and 'ELSPA' stand for?

VSC = Video Standards Council, a voluntary standards body set up by the trade to encourage good practice within the retail sector of the video industry.

BVA = British Video Association, the trade association of video distributors, set up to promote their commercial interests.

ELSPA = European Leisure Software Publishers' Association, a software publishers' trade body responsible for good practice and promotion of the industry dealing in video games and interactive videos. In conjunction with the VSC (see above), ELSPA have set up a voluntary scheme of self- regulation for video games which are exempt from classification by the BBFC.
